How fractional hiring works
The process
Here is how fractional hiring works with us. A fractional leader works for you part of the week. You send a requirement. We send a shortlist of senior people who fit. You choose, then sign one agreement and get one invoice from us. No deposit.
- No deposit to get started
- Every requirement read by us
- A best-fit shortlist, not a pile of CVs
- One agreement, one invoice
How fractional hiring works, in short
Fractionals is not a job board where you scroll and hope. We read every requirement ourselves and build each shortlist for that requirement.
Everything happens online, through the forms on this site and by email. There is nothing to sign up for, and no deposit. You pay only when someone starts. To begin, send your requirement.
Tell us the role and the hours. We send you a shortlist of people who fit.

For companies
- 01
Send your requirement
Use the form to tell us the role, the shape of the work, how much of the week it needs and any location or time zone needs. It is free.
- 02
We check we understand
We read every requirement ourselves. If something is unclear, we ask before we start. A clear requirement makes a good shortlist.
- 03
Get a shortlist
We look through the senior people who have applied to us, and our own contacts. We send you each person's CV and a short note on why they fit.
- 04
Talk and choose
You talk to whoever you like and choose. You do not have to hire anyone.
- 05
One agreement, one invoice
You sign one agreement with us and get one invoice. The terms are agreed in writing before anything starts, and nothing is due before then.
For talent
- 01
Apply with your CV
Tell us your experience, the roles you want, when you are free and where you are based.
- 02
Screening
An automated screen reads what you sent and helps us sort applications. Then we look at each one ourselves.
- 03
Matched to a role
When a role fits, we contact you about it before your CV goes to the company.
- 04
Introduced
If you want to go ahead, we introduce you and set out the terms in writing before anything starts.
- 05
The hiring company pays
The hiring company pays our fee. Talent never pays.

Write down the problem you need solved and roughly how much of the week it needs. Send that as your requirement. We send a shortlist of people who fit. You talk to them, choose one, and sign one agreement with us.
What does fractional hiring cost?
Nothing until someone starts. There is no deposit, and the shortlist is free. When the person starts, you get one invoice from us. Talent never pays. The fees page has the detail.
How do you decide who goes on a shortlist?
We compare each person with the work you described: the function they have led, the kind of company they have worked in, the time they have and where they are based.
Who do I contract with?
With us. You get one agreement and one invoice, and we handle the arrangement with the person. Fractional leaders usually work as independent contractors through their own company. Check anything specific to your country with your own adviser.
