Privacy policy (draft)
This is a draft pending legal review. It describes what we collect, how we store CVs and how our automated screening works, in plain words.
Draft status
This policy is a plain-language draft and has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet. Items marked to be confirmed will be filled in by the reviewed version.
What we collect from talent
When you apply, we collect your name, email address, LinkedIn URL, country and city, the type of role you want, your seniority and availability, your short pitch and your CV file. We also record the page you applied from and any campaign tags in the link you followed, so we know how people find us.
What we collect from companies
When you send a requirement, we collect your name, work email, company name, the role and engagement type you need, the days or hours, your ideal start and what you tell us about the work, along with the page and campaign information above.
How CVs are stored
CV files are kept in private storage that is not reachable from the public web. Application records sit in a database that only our server can access. We use a hosted database and file storage provider for this, and an email delivery provider to send us notice of new applications and to reply to you.
Automated AI screening
When you apply, an AI model reads the text of your CV, your pitch and your LinkedIn URL as plain text. It does not visit your LinkedIn profile, and we do not scrape it. The model gives typed judgments on whether you look senior enough for fractional executive or senior AI work, whether your experience matches the role type you chose, and whether the application looks genuine rather than spam.
Those judgments are combined into a screening tier with a short written reason, and stored with your application. We use the tier to sort applications. It is not a final decision: we review applications ourselves before putting anyone forward.
If the screen fails for a technical reason, your application is kept and screened again later. A failed screen never counts against you. You can ask us to review your application without relying on the automated tier by emailing us.
How we use and share your data
We use what you send us to match talent with roles and to contact you about them. We share a candidate's details with a company only after telling the candidate about the role. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it, and your choices
Our rules for keeping applications and requirements will be set in the reviewed version. You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you, including your CV.
Email hello@fractionals.now from the address you used, and we will act on it. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under data protection law, and the reviewed version will set those out.
Cookies and analytics
The reviewed version will describe any cookies and analytics the site uses.
