Terms of use (draft)

This is a draft pending legal review. It describes how we intend the service to work and will be replaced by a reviewed version before it is relied on.

Draft status

These terms are a plain-language draft. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer yet. Where something is marked as to be confirmed, the final version will fill it in.

What the site is

Fractionals finds fractional, part-time, interim and contract to hire leaders for companies. Companies send a requirement, leaders apply with a CV, and we introduce companies to people we think fit. A company that goes ahead signs one agreement with us and receives one invoice. How that agreement treats employment, liability and the arrangement with the person is to be confirmed in the reviewed version.

For companies

Sending a requirement, receiving a shortlist and interviewing are free, and there is no deposit. If a company engages a person we introduced, it does so under one agreement with us and pays one invoice. We share our terms when we introduce people, and they are agreed in writing before anything starts.

A person counts as introduced by us if we shared their details with the company for a requirement. If the company engages that person, for that requirement or another, our terms apply. The final version will say how long this applies after an introduction.

Companies agree that the requirements they send are real and described accurately.

For talent

Talent never pay us a fee. By applying, you confirm that what you send us is accurate and that you have the right to share it. We will tell you about a role before sharing your details with the company behind it.

We do not promise that any application will lead to a role.

Using the site

Do not use the site to send spam, to submit someone else's details without their permission or to try to get around our terms. We can remove requirements or applications that break these terms.

The content on this site is general information, not legal, tax or employment advice.

Liability, governing law and changes

Limits on liability and the governing law are to be confirmed in the reviewed version. We may update these terms, and the version on this page is current.
