Why Morocco

A country built as a digital and offshoring hub

Morocco has positioned itself as a regional hub for digital and offshoring services. It launched a national digital strategy with a programme for the offshoring sector. Morocco's Digital Development Agency (ADD) implements national digital strategies.

Gartner listed Morocco among its top countries for offshore services, citing language skills and proximity to Europe. That matters to companies in France or Spain that hire remotely.

FAQ

Moroccan terms

Management de transition or fractional?

In Morocco, "management de transition" (or "manager de transition") means interim management: a leader who covers a role for a set period. Fractional work is part time and ongoing. We list both.

DAF externalisé or DAF à temps partagé?

Both are used in Morocco, often on the same page. So are "directeur financier externe" and "direction financière externalisée". We list these as fractional CFO roles.

And for tech?

Moroccan firms say "CTO externalisé", "direction technique à temps partagé" or "CTO as a service". A DSI is the French title for an IT director.

Who pays the fee?

The hiring company, and only when someone starts. Talent never pays.
