Polish terms, explained
Is it fractional CTO, or is there a Polish term?
Polish companies use "fractional CTO" as it is. They also say "outsourcing CTO", "CTO-as-a-Service" and "zewnętrzny dyrektor technologii". Each means a senior technical lead who works for you part time.
What about CFO na godziny?
"CFO na godziny" and "dyrektor finansowy na godziny" mean a finance director by the hour. "Zewnętrzny dyrektor finansowy" is also common. We list all of these as fractional CFO roles.
Interim manager or menedżer tymczasowy?
Polish pages often write "interim manager" in English, or "menedżer tymczasowy". Both mean a leader who covers a role for a set period. See the interim executive page.
