Forward deployed engineers for Agentforce rollouts

Use cases / Salesforce Agentforce

You have Agentforce licences and a Salesforce org full of custom objects, flows and data quirks. Forward deployed engineers for Agentforce join your team, part of the week or for a fixed period, and get one agent grounded, tested and live. You tell us who you need. We send people who fit.

  • No deposit to get started
  • Every requirement read by us
  • A best-fit shortlist, not a pile of CVs
  • One agreement, one invoice

Why Agentforce rollouts stall

The agent is only as good as the org behind it

Agentforce agents reason over your Salesforce data and act through the flows, Apex and APIs you give them. If the data is messy or the actions are too broad, the agent will be too.

A forward deployed engineer works with your Salesforce admins, the business team and security. They define narrow topics and actions, clean up the data the agent depends on, and test it at scale before customers or reps rely on it.

Tell us the role and the hours. We send you a shortlist of people who fit.

What the work covers

What forward deployed engineers for Agentforce work on

  • Topics and actions Clear topic boundaries and well-defined actions built on flows, Apex or external APIs, each with the least access it needs.
  • Grounding in your data Getting the records, knowledge articles and outside data the agent needs into shape, including Data Cloud where you use it.
  • Testing at scale Test cases for topic and action selection and response quality, run before every change through Agentforce Testing Center or your own harness.
  • Integration beyond Salesforce Actions that reach billing, order or product systems outside the org, with error handling the agent can recover from.

How hiring an engineer for Agentforce works

  1. 01

    Send your requirement

Tell us the one agent, whether it is for service, sales or an internal team, the objects and systems it touches, and who signs off go-live. It is free, and there is no deposit.

  2. 02

    Get a shortlist

We read every requirement ourselves and look for people who fit. Then we send a shortlist: each person's CV and a short note on why they fit.

  3. 03

    Talk to them and choose

You talk to whoever you like and choose. Look for both Salesforce development and LLM experience, and test both when you talk. You do not have to hire anyone.

  4. 04

    Pay only when someone starts

One agreement and one invoice with us, on terms agreed in writing before anything starts. Talent never pays.

Constraints

What to design around

  • A man smiling across a table while a colleague in the foreground talks
Einstein Trust Layer Salesforce routes Agentforce LLM calls through its Einstein Trust Layer, which includes data masking, toxicity detection and an audit trail. The engineer configures and tests within it.
  • A small team around a meeting table, one standing to talk while the others listen
Org permissions Agents act with defined permissions. The engineer keeps them as narrow as the task allows and reviews them with your admin.
  • A small team around a meeting table, one standing to talk while the others listen
Data quality Duplicate accounts, stale cases and inconsistent fields show up as bad answers. Cleaning up the objects the agent uses is part of the work.

Release process Changes move from sandbox to production through your existing deployment and change control.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Do we need Data Cloud to use Agentforce?

That depends on your use case and licences. The engineer reviews what your agent needs and works with what you have.

Can the engineer work with our existing Salesforce partner?

Yes. Many teams keep their partner for platform work and bring in an engineer to own the agent and its testing.

Will the agent face customers?

In time, if that is the goal. Most rollouts start with internal users or a small share of traffic, until test results and reviews support going wider.

What about custom code and outside systems?

Apex, flows and external APIs are all in scope. Many useful actions need data from outside Salesforce.
