What Accenture FDEs do

The Snowflake FDE posting asks you to "design and engineer enterprise-ready AI agents: retrieval, orchestration, tool invocation, evaluation harnesses". It asks for experience in Snowflake engineering, Python or Java and shipping to production, plus agentic AI in production.

The New Zealand posting describes sitting inside client teams "as the primary technical owner from discovery through to production deployment." The Madrid posting says "non-linear profiles are expected and welcomed."

Is Accenture's "reinvention deployed engineer" the same as an FDE?

Not by name. Accenture's Anthropic announcement trains staff including "reinvention deployed engineers that help embed Claude within client environments." Its later Microsoft, ServiceNow and Google programmes use the forward deployed title.
