How the ServiceNow forward deployed engineer role works

ServiceNow's posting is titled "Forward Deployed Solution Engineer, Applied AI FDE". It calls the hire a Senior Forward Deployed Solution Engineer (FDSE). The FDSE owns "everything from backend services to LLM pipelines and front-end integrations."

The US role is remote. It asks for long software engineering experience, including time in customer-facing or embedded roles, plus travel. The same role is also open in London, Dublin, Amsterdam and Montreal.

ServiceNow also hires a Principal AI Forward Deployed Engineer in Santa Clara. This person is the lead architect for the FDE group within CRM and Industry Engineering.
